Burlington is becoming a community that makes room for joy. 💗

At Play Intention’s 3rd annual Hat Bop, people of all ages dreamed up wildly creative hats and took to the runway to open SEABA’s STRUT Fashion Show at Art Hop. From clouds and hot-air balloons to a garden of blooming ears, every creation sparked pure delight. And each person was cheered on as they walked the runway.

These are the moments that help us feel connected, supported and part of something joyful.

That’s why we make space for community play. It gives us a reason to come together, to express ourselves, and to celebrate what each person brings.

To everyone who made a hat, walked the runway, or cheered from the crowd: you helped create this experience. We’re so happy to be part of this imaginative, big-hearted Vermont community.

This is what it looks like when a community makes room for joy. 💗

At Play Intention’s 3rd annual Hat Bop, people of all ages dreamed up wildly creative hats and took to the runway to open SEABA’s STRUT Fashion Show at Art Hop. This Wednesday we're popping up at Hula with the Hula Creativity Café: a playful workday break designed to refuel your brain, shake up your thinking and bring a little more connection + aliveness to your work day. ☕️🎨🧠

Come dine in at the café tables, grab a headphone flight or creative prompt for takeout, or catch our roaming à la carte cart making its way through the Main Building.

On the menu: tiny creative challenges, sensory resets, unexpected prompts and playful experiments designed to exercise cognitive flexibility, creative thinking and problem-solving... with a side of fun 🍟

No artistic ability needed.
Just a 3 minutes and a willingness to play. ✨

Hula members: come find us Wednesday, Sept 30th 11am-1pm in the main building.
