Happy Monday! Our study tip for today is to use flowcharts and diagrams to understand hard concepts.
This method is especially useful for classes where the concepts and ideas can get messy and difficult to comprehend. We recommend drawing a diagram or flowchart to help you better understand a concept or how it relates to other areas within the course.

Do you struggle to memorize facts or equations for school? Try using mnemonic devices!
An example of a mnemonic device is PEMDAS. Almost everyone knows what each letter stands for because it is easy to memorize this catchy word, which is made up of letters that represent the order of operations. This method can be used for any subject and it will help your brain remember things faster.

As students can access information such as lectures, videos, notes, etc at any time, they can revisit a section anytime they forget something. In in-person classes, this is not possible with lectures.
Additionally, online learning provides more opportunities for success to students. Some teachers may also allow students to retake quizzes if they failed already. This places more emphasis on learning rather than regurgitating information.
As a result, the shift to virtual platforms may not be as bad as it may seem.

Happy Monday! Today's study tip is to make sure that you eat brain food before or during your study sessions.
By eating nutritious food, you help increase your retention and focus power, giving you an enhanced study session. We recommend snacking on nuts and berries. Some specific foods that we have found helpful are almonds, peanuts, pears, grapes, and watermelon.

Happy middle of the week! Did you know that only 45% of SAT test takers actually meet college readiness benchmarks in both english and math 😮 (according to College Board reports).
This is likely because students do not study correctly. Unfortunately, relying on your high school classes to prepare you for test day will most likely result in a score lower than you expected because high school does not prepare you for the types of questions you will encounter on the SAT.
Instead, we recommend that you spend at least one hour per day studying for the SAT. It is shown that 6-8 hours of actual SAT preparation can result in a 90 point score increase!

The best way to clear your mind is to have a clear study space. You should start out by organizing papers, objects, or other things on your desk. Tidying up your workspace has numerous benefits.
While you are at it, remove all distractions. By eliminating distractions from your space dedicated to studying, you will concentrate solely on your work. As a result, your productivity will boost as well as your quality of work.
