Meet Andres, founder and tutor at AstroSpanish!
Andres is a passionate language learner who loves to help others. Born and raised in Milagro, Ecuador, he studied at the State University of Milagro, where he won a gold medal for academics and first began tutoring his peers. Looking to grow as a professional and as a person, he has spent extended periods of time living with family in New Jersey, USA, where he learned English through immersion and hard work. Through this process of having to communicate in a foreign country, he learned to shed the fear of making mistakes and to take advantage of every opportunity to grow in his language ability. Andres understands how scary it can be to practice a new language with native speakers and loves to share what he has learned with students. He also enjoys sharing his Ecuadorian culture with anyone interested in listening and can tell many stories and little-known facts about Latin America and its people.
