This is the official page of Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend, one of eight IUSM regional medical centers.
IUSM-SB has been educating medical students since the late 1960s. For the first 40 years, this center for medical education provided first- and second-year medical school classes. Beginning in 2008, IUSM-SB became the first regional campus to offer third- and fourth-year clinical education. Classes are capped at 30 students each, providing an engaging, personal medical school experience.

The Wilderness Medical Interest Group ventured out to Bittersweet Skiing Resort in Allegan, Mich. to learn how first-responders handles ski related accidents on hills. Keeley Newsom, Eric Chang, Nicole Blichmann, Warren Moseman, Adam Kelty, Amee Sangani, Ari Williams, Brandon Gregory, Christian Lankford, Dash Pierce, Kate Stevens, Mahera Husain, Nicole Hicks and Taylor Burger trained on respnose skills, shadowed responders or took a turn at rescue patrol work.

Great to have our students active in the AMA. Danny Aramounfelder, Alaina Turchi and Ryan Gandy meet up with Brandon Francis at the AMA regional meetings in Regional Physicians of the Future Conference in Cincinnati. Sessions focused on advocacy.

Thanks to AMWA, St. Margaret's House will receive a donation of at least $1,145, the proceeds of a pre-Thanksgiving Trivia Night. More than 50 people show up! The winning team included Kathy Eggelson, Joel Gerig, Matthew Anderson, Mark and Amy Fraser, Eda Shi, Jourdan Carroll and Cheyney Mcwilliams. Dr. Mark Fox and his family won second place. Eric Metzman was among winners of 15 different baskets that were raffled off.
