Last week, Dustin’s Place visited Mrs. Troup’s class and read the “Invisible String” by Patrice Karst. The book reminds us we are all connected and never alone. The students shared fun, loving memories of our friend, Nasir, and participated in activities as a way to work through feelings of grief and loss. We appreciate their support so much, and Mrs. Martin for making this happen. 🥰

How should schools prepare students for a future shaped by AI?

CANOPS CEO Jeremy Lugbill shares his perspective in a new South Bend Tribune opinion piece on why schools should prepare students to use AI ethically, responsibly, and effectively.

At CANOPS, we're already putting that approach into action in our classrooms—using AI to support learning, critical thinking, creativity, and career preparation.

❤️💙 Celebrating Our Friend Nasir

This Friday, our Success Academy family will come together to celebrate the life of our sweet friend, Nasir, and the joy he brought to our school.

Students and staff are invited to wear red and blue or dress like Nasir’s favorite webslinger in his honor. 🕷️❤️💙

We hope this day gives our students and staff an opportunity to remember Nasir, celebrate the happiness he brought to those around him, and show our love and support for his family.

Together, we celebrate Nasir and keep his memory
in our hearts. ❤️

💙❤️ Supporting Nasir’s Family

We are heartbroken by the loss of our sweet Nasir, and our hearts go out to his family as they face the unimaginable. There truly are no words for a loss like this.

Many of our families have reached out to ask how they can help and support Nasir’s family during this incredibly difficult time. I am sharing the GoFundMe that has been set up for his family for anyone who would like to contribute. I know that any amount, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated.

Please continue to keep Nasir’s family, his loved ones, and all those who knew and loved him in your hearts.
