Kicked off Black History Month learning about the inventor of the traffic light, Garret Morgan.

After listening to a read loud about his road to invention and reading an article about his life; we discovered he was not the first to create a traffic light but the best to do it!

Garrett’s traffic light only included stop and go! We decided to create modern day traffic lights with red, yellow, and green lights.
