Hello marching band families!
I hope you are all enjoying your time with your kiddos but the school year is fast approaching. Now that we’ve had a year of performing, the marching band has a bit of a reputation to uphold! We have decided to expand the size of our marching band which is not just something we can do overnight. So, I come to you with requests and questions. First of all, we want to do a band camp! It will be held on the days of August 11th, 12th, and 13th from 9:00am to 12:00pm. These will just be refresher days, so if your kiddo can’t make it, that is ok. If you are able to bring your student to them, please use the sign up form attached. Next, we are going to need some extra help this year. So many of you were such a big help last year with everything we did and I could never thank you enough. This year, we are trying to up the game. We want to make props for the show and I am going to need some extra help. So I would like to get a parent group assembled that is willing to help with props, transportation, and snacks (if ever needed). If you are interested in helping with that, I will attach a separate sign up sheet for that. If you have any questions, as always, let me know. We want this year to be absolutely amazing! NOTE: Band camp is only for last year’s members. If your child is interested in marching band for this school year, a form will be sent home once school starts.
