St. Joe Valley Watercolor Society

The St. Joe Valley Watercolor Society has a tradition of choosing two paintings created by students participating in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and giving them a scholarship! This Scholastic regional competition is held each year at the South Bend Museum of Art. All of the winning works of art are now on display at the museum and will be through April 13.
This year the St. Joe Valley Watercolor Society winners are:

Mary Glenn, painting titled “Growth”, from Saint Joseph High School, Indiana, grade 11, she also received a silver key from the Scholastic Art and Writing Award Competition.

Lucas Silva, painting titled “Ebb and Flo”, from Saint Joseph High School, Michigan, grade 11, he also received a silver key from the Scholastic Art and Writing Award Competition.

St. Joe Valley Watercolor Society meeting cancelled.
Due to the extreme cold and dangerous weather conditions expected this weekend the St. Joe Valley Watercolor Society meeting that was planned for Sunday, January 25 has been cancelled.
