Join us Thursday, June 4th from 5:30–7:30 PM at Chippewa Bowl for our Wilson End of the Year Bowling Party! For just $25 per lane (max of 5), enjoy unlimited bowling, shoe rental, and a fun evening with family and friends.

A portion of the proceeds will support Wilson PBIS.

Congratulations to all of our Wilson K–3 Soccer League athletes on a fantastic season filled with growth, teamwork, sportsmanship, and some fierce competition. Several playoff games even came down to exciting penalty shootouts!

🎉 Career Week 2026 Recap! 🎉

What an incredible week of learning and inspiration for our Wilson Warriors!

Throughout the week, students explored future career pathways through guest speakers, college and trade representatives, family engagement, and community partnerships. Highlights included presentations from Mr. Cedric and Mike Brown, visits from IUSB and Ivy Tech, our annual Parent Spotlight Day, and 21 community members who shared their careers with students.

Career Week helped students see the connection between literacy, education, and future success while encouraging them to dream big and work toward their goals. Thank you to all of our speakers, families, volunteers, and community partners for making this week such a success! 💚💛

🍎✨ As We Wrap Up Another Amazing School Year... ✨🍎

As we approach the final week of school, we wanted to take a moment to look back and celebrate an incredible Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8) at Wilson Elementary!

Our teachers and staff were showered with appreciation through a week filled with coffee and donuts ☕🍩, a Cinco de Mayo taco lunch 🌮, Tattoos for Teachers 🎨, McTeachers Night 🍔, and special gifts 🎁. It was a wonderful reminder of how much our school community values the people who pour their hearts into our students every day.

A very special THANK YOU to the Wilson PTO for planning and organizing an outstanding Teacher Appreciation Week. Your generosity, creativity, and commitment to our staff made the week truly memorable.

South Bend Community School Corporation is asking families of returning students to complete the 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐩𝐚𝐝 𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟕 enrollment verification process for the upcoming school year.

This quick process helps families:
✅ Confirm student enrollment for 2026–27
✅ Verify or update contact information
✅ Indicate transportation needs
✅ Receive important school and district updates throughout the year

Families should use the individualized Launchpad link sent to their email to complete the process. Keeping your information updated helps SBCSC prepare transportation routes, schedules, communication, and other important resources before the first day of school.

IREAD-3 testing and reading support opportunities are continuing for some of our 2nd and 3rd Grade Warriors. We encourage all families to continue supporting reading at home by practicing each night, reviewing sight words, asking questions while reading, and helping students arrive at school rested and ready to learn.

For our 3rd Grade Warriors, the second round of IREAD-3 testing will take place this May. Some 2nd Grade Warriors who received an “At Risk” status may also be invited to participate in summer reading support opportunities.

At Wilson Elementary, we believe every Warrior can grow into a confident and successful reader! Thank you for continuing to partner with our teachers and staff to support your child’s learning journey. 💪🏽📖
