To all nonprofit professionals and organizations:

I am excited to announce a new Nonprofit Certificate Program at Indiana University - South Bend! As of July, 2020, a decision was made to end all on-location and online nonprofit executive education at the University of Notre Dame. As a result, there were no academic institutions within a 50 mile radius of South Bend, Indiana, that offered nonprofit certificate education. Of the 10 people whose jobs were eliminated, about half opted to stay in other positions at the university and half opted to accept early retirement packages or leave the university. I accepted the early retirement package and have since been working closely with Indiana University in South Bend to develop a Nonprofit Certificate Program to serve those who are in search of an academic certificate to further their knowledge and advance their career. We have several offerings lined up, such as grant proposal writing, strategic planning, marketing, fundraising and program evaluation. In addition, we are resurrecting the very popular “Nonprofit Morning Breakfast Series” which will be three mornings this fall from 7-9:30 a.am at IUSB. I will post these as they are available, so like this page and stay tuned for updates!
