I don’t even know where to begin. I have loved my job at Clay for the last 14 years and have made countless amazing memories. I want to thank all of the faculty, staff, and administrators in my Clay life. You have enriched my experience here and have made me so proud to be a part of the Clay community. Your friendship, love and support has meant the world to me.

I have been involved with 40 shows on the Clay stage as either a director or asst. director. I have worked with the most incredibly talented and creative people on this amazing journey. From student actors and theatre professionals to vocal directors, choreographers, visual artists, band and orchestra instrumentalists and directors, costumers, lighting and sound directors, stage managers, and photography/video historians and I have learned so much about the wonderful world of theatre and the arts from all of you. It is all of you that have fueled my passion. My goal was to take risks and empower students with a powerful voice. We all created a beautiful culture where students felt safe to be who they truly are without judgement.

If I have ever worked with you in any capacity on our Clay stage or in our building, thank you. It has been an honor, a privilege, and a blast to work with you. You impressed, ignited and fueled my creative passion. I am forever grateful for all of you. Clay High School Visual and Performing Arts will always be a huge part of who I am.

It’s officially finals week, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take time-out to celebrate our AMAZING STUDENTS!

Our photo and drawing students enjoyed the splendid beauty and nature of Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve, Potowatomi Park & Conservatory and the amazing works of art at the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art at the University of Notre Dame South Bend Community School Corporation On r students are always AMAZING!
