Dennis Staffelbach announcing the results of the Mock Trial competition and the student wards yesterday at lunch. His smile says it all!
The student body was happy to celebrate the well-deserved victory of our Mock Trial teams today! Mr. Staffelbach announced that in addition to Trinity teams winning first and second place in the state, members from our sophomore, junior and senior teams won multiple individual awards, including best attorney and best witness in the state!
Best Witness Award Winners: Luke Reifenberg* (4x); Ben Tomas Morgan (2x); Helena Drake* (1x)
Best Attorney Award Winners: Frank Rossi (2 + championship round); Thomas Goulding (2x); Pietro Stroik (1x); Anthony Kavanaugh (1x); Audrey Loughran (1x); Emily Morin (1x); Emma Barrett (1x); Helena Drake (1x).
*Luke Reifenberg was the only student at the state competition to win all four rounds for Best Witness!
*Helena Drake was the only Trinity student to win both Best Witness and Best Attorney awards!

Best Witness in the State: Nathan Trumble
Special thanks to Mr. Staffelbach, our faculty Mock Trial facilitator. This victory is many years in the making and would not be possible without his dedication!

Alumni, we have much to be proud of today. Our senior Mock Trial team came first at the state competition and our junior team took second place! Congratulations to them and all the teachers, parents and alumni who paved the way for this victory!
Congratulations to our senior class team Poultrygeist for winning the 2018 Indiana State Mock Trial Championship and to our junior team Bill of Frights for finishing second. Great job, Titans!!!
