In remembrance...
If your on campus and happen to be passing by the south lawn of the library be sure to take a look at the the new sakura (Cherry blossoms, the Japanese national tree) that we planted on Saturday Oct. 20th.
Planted in memory of the 2011 Japan tsunami victims, the planting of sakura is often used as a ceremonial sign of healing in Japanese culture.
