Did you know that by kindergarten age, children whose parents read five books a day hear about 1.4 million more words than children who are not read to? At AppleTree, books help us explore new worlds without ever leaving the classroom. That’s why reading is one of our favorite parts of the day!

Shiver me timbers! 🏴‍☠️ Our 3’s class set sail on a pirate adventure inspired by their love of boats, swimming, and treasure. From battling a sea monster to walking the plank and high-fiving a pirate, this obstacle course was a treasure trove of fun! Arrrggg!
