Lydick ECM Daycare/Preschool Lydick ECM is a daycare/preschool with a Christian foundation. We offer care for ages 6 weeks to 5 y These are busy bees indeed preparing for Kindergarten.

We offer care for 6 week old infants and they remain in the nursery until 24 months. They then move up to our "Duckling" room for a year of fun and learning! At around 24 months they move onto our Tadpole room of 3 year olds. These youngsters are aptly named for the leaps of learning and growing they do! When they are 4 (and potty trained) they go to our Honeybee room! Thankfully we do not lose the youngsters yet (if we can help it anyway!!) We offer after school care up to age 12! Some of these children are even working here now as aides and volunteers!! We love our kids and try to keep them here as long as we can!!! 🦎🐍🐢 The Zoo Came to Us! 🐢🐍🦎

Today was an extra special day at Lydick ECM because we got to meet some amazing animal friends right here at the daycare!
A shout-out and thank you to Potawatomi Zoo for sharing their knowledge of their animal ambassadors with the kiddos today!
Our Lydick Littles had the chance to see an armadillo, a snake, and a turtle up close! We learned fun facts, watched the animals move and explore, and talked about how each animal is unique. 🐢🐍
There were lots of curious little eyes, excited smiles, and maybe a few surprised faces!

Hands on experiences like this make learning fun, memorable, and meaningful for our kiddos. We love giving our Lydick Littles opportunities to explore the world around them!

The kids at Lydick ECM have been getting into the Fall spirit. 🍂 🍎
Many of the classrooms have integrated apples into their lessons to give the littles an early taste of fall. One simple item can bring so much wonder to the littles.
When they explore everyday items like apples through their senses and creativity, they’re building vocabulary, fine-motor skills, observation skills, and early science concepts all while having fun! Learning doesn’t always look like sitting at a table. Sometimes, it looks like getting messy and discovering something new.

One of the best things about our daycare family is the incredible staff who pour their hearts into the children every single day.
We bring some of the most important characteristics to a daycare. Patience, creativity, laughter, and lots of love to every classroom.
We are so proud to have many staff members who have been a part of our family for 15 years or more. That kind of dedication is something truly special. We may have a little chaos, alot of laughter, and probably a few Goldfish crackers hiding in our pockets, or glitter in our hair, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
We are so thankful for the amazing people who make our center feel like family!

We know that every family is different, and every parent has their own way of doing things. We want you to know that we are here to love, support, encourage, and care for your child—not judge your parenting, your choices, or your lifestyle.

Parenting is hard enough without feeling like you have to be perfect. There is no judgment here—just people who genuinely care about your child and want to see them happy, loved, safe, and growing.

Our new school year has been off to a fantastic start.
Here at Lydick we focus on play-based learning. Play-based learning is intentionally guided by our experienced teachers with specific goals in mind.
This especially helps with social and emotional regularity. They are learning by interacting, communicating, and collaborating.
We have had so much fun exploring ways of play so far this year. The smiles never fade and the laughter never stops. Please call, or email if you are interested in learning more about our program.
