RLA's Open House is TODAY! Our teachers and staff are very excited to welcome you to the building, get to know you, and share how we can partner with you in Gospel!

Our doors will be open from 5:30 to 7:30pm. We will have snacks, coffee, and a raffle for you to enter, with the prize being a $200 Amazon gift card! We look forward to seeing you tonight!

This evening at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Mishawaka, Resurrection Lutheran Academy will be hosting its annual Sweets and Serenades event. It is a lovely evening of music, desserts, and a silent auction benefiting RLA’s Scholarship Fund.


Bidding opens at 7:00pm and will close at 9:45pm. There are many great things to bid on, like Notre Dame Football tickets and a Staycation in a local Airbnb. You do not have to be in person to win, though we hope to see you there. Thanks in advance for your support!

With the expansion of our building, we are now able to offer a full-day Pre-K program. This program is designed for 4-year-olds and helps prepare them for kindergarten the following year. We are also excited to welcome a new teacher for this class, Kayla Schenkel. Below is a message Kayla would like to share.

"I am excited to join Resurrection Lutheran Academy as the preschool teacher. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Reading, from Indiana Wesleyan University. I have experience teaching preschool, kindergarten, and first grade, and this year marks my tenth year in early childhood education.

My family and I recently relocated to Indiana from Alabama. I have been happily married to my husband, Chris, for 13 years, and we have two wonderful children, Jude (12) and Adaline (7). Our home is also filled with energy thanks to our two dogs, Peyton and Millie.

In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach and spending time outdoors with my family.

I am truly looking forward to getting to know each child and building meaningful connections with your family as we learn and grow together. "
