Our Office of International Student Services (OISS) will:
• Advise and guide you through the admissions process.
• Clarify university and immigration policies and procedures.
• Facilitate employment authorization, program extensions, and reinstatements.
• Assist with housing, health insurance, and other challenges to settling well into the community.
• Support you with counseling, resources, linkages, and social programming.

International Education Week Student Highlight:
Meet Hitaanshi, an MBA Finance student with diverse experience as a Paralegal who dreams of opening her own cafe one day. With a love for cooking and a talent inherited from her mom, Hitaanshi knows the importance of balancing passion with practicality in business. Her heart lies in Japan, where she hopes to visit the Studio Ghibli Museum and Ghibli Land. As a student at IUSB, Hitaanshi is committed to making the most of her time on campus. From attending classes to exploring the local community, she is eager to learn and grow both inside and outside the classroom, Hitaanshi is well on her way to achieving her goals.

Join us to celebrate Diwali!
Diwali, a cherished Hindu festival often referred to as the festival of light. Diwali symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. To bring this festive spirit to campus, we’re hosting a Diya Decoration Event, where participants will paint diyas together. The diya in Diwali represents the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. This event is an opportunity to immerse in cultural traditions.

Ended IEW 2023 with a bang with our annual Thanksgiving pie celebration. We all learned more about why pie is one of America’s favorite desserts at Thanksgiving and throughout the year. Our international students showcased their cultures with performances and a photography exhibition!
