I went to go meet two friends for dinner and walked into a Baby/End of Bells Dinner with current and past parents! These women are so
Special to me! Some of them have been at Bells for just a year and some have been there for 4! I felt so loved and supported and I’m grateful for every single one of them. I always tell my families when they sign up that we have now become one big family and it couldn’t be more true!

Today is Bells Academy 7th Year Anniversary! Today is very bittersweet for me! At the end of the day I’m extremely grateful for every family that has come through here and for building something so amazing!

I started my school from nothing- it was just a dream I had in my head. I had no building and no students enrolled. I can still picture setting up meetings with families in coffee shops and trying to explain (and convince) my vision for a preschool. I sat there nervous with all of my binders to show as examples of work their child would be doing and my method for the best way of teaching their child.

This was the beginning of Bells Academy.

For the past seven years, Bells has been my whole life. It’s been an wonderful experience to watch these kids grow, learn, and excel once they made it to Kindergarten. The friendships that have been made have been amazing to watch and flourish. Every child that has come here in the last seven years will forever be a part of me and will never be forgotten.

After a very long and painstakingly difficult decision, I have decided to take some time away from Bells to be with my growing family. I’m going to be taking some time to be home with my boys for a bit and be a “mom first”. This is time that is precious to me and I want to make the most of it while it lasts. While this concludes one wonderful chapter of my life, this is not the end. Teaching is my passion in life and I will return when the time is right for me and my family. I do not know what the future holds, but I am excited for the next chapter to begin.

To all of the families that have trusted me these past seven years – thank you.
