As our eighth graders conclude their time at Saint Joseph Grade School, we find ourselves in a bittersweet season of celebration and farewell.
They recently completed their year-long service-learning Summons Projects, showcasing their growth through inspiring Summons Summit presentations and art projects. Their meaningful work, creativity, and dedication were evident in every presentation and display!
This past week also marked several important βlastsβ for our Class of 2026, including their final full week of school, last School Mass, and Awards Ceremony. Next week they look forward to their final class lunch, the popular 8th vs. teachers volleyball game, a class trip to Indy, and, of course, the Graduation Mass.
Congratulations to all of our soon-to-be graduates! We are so proud of the young people you have become, and we wish you many blessings as you venture off to high school!

May is a wonderful time to celebrate the arts at Saint Joseph Grade School! ππΆπ¨
Last Friday, our junior high Drama and Choral Music electives brought scenes from Mary Poppins to life, challenging themselves not only to sing and perform, but also to develop characters, master choreography, and help create staging and costumes inspired by the time period.
On Monday, our 5th grade and junior high Band and Choral Music students showcased their talents during a recital in the church for SJGS students and families. Performances included a variety of classic and contemporary selections from Broadway, popular films, and liturgical music.
We are also excited for our upcoming Celebration of the Arts talent show and art display!
Congratulations and bravo to all of our students who share their creativity and talents through the arts. We are so proud of you! π

Today our Saint Joseph Grade School community gathered in faith and love to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary during our May Crowning and Living Rosary celebration.
With flowers, prayers, songs, and joyful hearts, we crowned Mary as our Queen and Mother, asking for her guidance and intercession for our students, families, and staff. Thank you to everyone who helped make this beautiful tradition so special.
Holy Mary, pray for us!
