We love when our community partners stop by with something fresh to share! A huge thank you to Preston, Isaiah, and Simon for delivering these beautiful, fresh vegetables to RCLC!

These deliveries are about so much more than veggies—they’re about community, connection, healthy choices, and neighbors supporting neighbors.

We are so grateful for wonderful community partners who believe in the work happening at RCLC and find meaningful ways to be part of it.

Our RCLC community certainly enjoyed this fresh harvest!

Onions and collards and cabbages oh my! Team members Preston, Isaiah and Simon delivering our fresh veggies to our friends at the Robinson Community Learning Center! We love Luella’s leadership and the chance to be part of the Center’s impactful programs! 💚

More than tennis. More than a game.

Courts were filled with laughter, determination, new friendships, and countless moments of growth. From learning the fundamentals to building confidence with every swing, our campers challenged themselves, encouraged one another, and discovered just how much they could accomplish.

At RCLC, we're not just teaching forehands and serves—we're helping young people develop resilience, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love of staying active.

Thank you to our incredible coaches, families, and campers for making this an unforgettable summer. We can't wait to see you back on the courts!

We always have a great deal to celebrate at RCLC. Today, we celebrate our Director, Dr. Susan Joan Devetski! Dr. Devetski is being honored with the USTA Foundation 35x35 President's Impact Award. The USTA 35x35 President's Impact Award is a national honor given by the United States Tennis Association to celebrate 35 individuals and groups who significantly grow grassroots tennis. It supports the USTA vision to reach 35 million tennis players in the U.S. by the year 2035. We could not be more honored to be led every day by such an inspirational leader. Please join us in celebrating "Ms. Susie" today! USTA Midwest

By bringing Señorita Mariposa to life, our students embraced every moment with creativity, curiosity, and heart.

Our adventure extended far beyond the stage as we explored the Paul Tazewell exhibit at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, visited butterflies in their natural habitat at Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve, experienced A Year with Frog and Toad at Marriott Theatre, and connected with the author, Mister G of Señorita Mariposa over Zoom.

We were honored to share our story with more than 350 audience members including La Casa de Amistad on performance day, as well as at our South Bend Police Department and Notre Dame Federal Credit Union Cops & Community event, two performances at Corvilla, and a special performance for the residents of St Paul's Senior Community. Watching our students bring joy to others reminded us that the arts have the power to connect, inspire, and transform.

But the greatest transformation happened within each of our students. New friendships were formed, confidence grew, talents blossomed, and every child discovered something new about themselves. Just like the monarch butterfly, each of us experienced our own journey of growth.

We found joy in the journey.

Thank you to Serve Indiana, Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, Indiana and Indiana Arts Commission for making this magical summer possible.
