What does a year of learning look like at RMHS?
At the end of every spring semester, we celebrate student work through Installations, an exhibition where students share the projects, creations, and achievements they've been developing throughout the year.
This year's displays included Humanities essays, Open Studio artwork, Spanish projects, Aikido belt accomplishments, a student-produced yearbook, and so many more examples of student initiative and craftsmanship.
Installations is more than just an exhibition; it's a chance for students to take ownership of their work and for loved ones to witness the growth, creativity, and intelligence that emerge when young people are challenged.
It's one of our favorite days of the year!πππ§‘

Calling all young writers, storytellers,
and world-builders ππβ¨
Weβre so excited to partner with Brain Lair Books for
our first-ever Young Writers Workshop: five intensive
days of reading, writing, workshopping, and literary
exploration at Brain Lair and Counterspell Cafe.
Each day, writers will engage with a focus text, respond
to a new prompt, and workshop among peers. This is a
space for teens who want to challenge themselves,
strengthen their technical skills, and push their
creativity further.
Register before July 13th at the link below. ποΈ

We take twin day pretty seriously around here π
Last week we did a school spirit theme every day to lead up to prom, and the outfits did not disappoint! Great job to Karie and Heather, who had us confused about who we were talking to all day long.

It's always a joy to welcome back alumni - today, we were surprised at lunch by these three lovely faces, home from their first year of college!
Though they are missed, we love hearing about all of the amazing things they've been up to. Welcome home!

We're feeling so appreciated!
It's teacher appreciation week, and our community is showing up for the River guides. Thanks so much to the parents and students that have coordinated to shower us with gifts, kind words, and lots of love.
Weβre so grateful to spend our days learning, growing, cooking, playing, and living alongside such thoughtful students and supportive families. Thank you for making RMHS such a joyful place to be πππ§‘

This year's Spring Market was a huge success, and we're so grateful to everyone who braved the wind to join us!
From paintings and jewelry to plants, ceramics, and homemade foods, our students created and sold an incredible range of products.
The market is a great chance for students to practice entrepreneurship in action, and they spent months ideating, making, and preparing to bring their work to the larger community.
We're so proud of the creativity of our students and guides and we can't wait to do it again next year!
