Are you looking for personalized, play-based educational support for your preschool or kindergarten-aged child? I am transitioning my experience as an early education program teacher to offer specialized tutoring with a homeschool-support model. Here’s what I’m offering:

Program Details

Weekly Sessions: Your child will meet with me once a week for approximately 35 minutes.

At-Home Activities: I’ll send you home with fun learning games and tasks designed to build on the session’s work.

Hands-On Approach: Lessons are tailored to your child’s needs, emphasizing intentional play, activities, and minimal worksheets.

Hi, my name is Vanessa and I give moms a break while providing quality early education for their little one. This is my 4th year in business as a part-time early education program (3 days a week). If your little isn't in preschool, please take the time to read this post and consider coming for a tour.
As an early childhood educator, my passion lies in providing children with the foundation they need to succeed in all areas of their lives. One area that I am particularly passionate about is speech and language development. Strong communication skills are vital for children to thrive, both academically and socially.
To achieve this goal, I employ a variety of teaching strategies and techniques. I use play-based learning to engage children and help them develop their communication skills in a fun and interactive way. I also work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that children are receiving consistent support and encouragement at home.
Ultimately, my goal as an early childhood educator is to help children become confident, capable communicators who are ready to take on the world. I believe that with the right support and guidance, every child can achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.

Have you enrolled your little one in preschool for next school year yet? As a parent and teacher my best tip to find a school you are comfortable with is to simply go to the school, talk to the potential teacher and check the vibe out. Your gut will tell you!

I own and teach at Bright Life Preschool. Next school year may be my last year teaching as I am going to school to work in Pediatric Speech Pathology. Groundhog Day is tomorrow 😊
Today we did a craft to talk about it. The kiddos practice their cutting skills, gluing, writing, building fine motor skills, problem solving and following 2+ step directions. Here is a link to the groundhog we used. I put a twist on it and made it a puppet with a popsicle and construction paper. You know what It's a Free download too!!!

Bright Life Preschool had a great day celebrating Halloween in class!! We even had a drive-in Blippi special!! 💙🧡🤓🧡💙

Toddlers don't need to be able say the color or know them to be able to match colors. 🤗 The best way to begin teaching colors is in your everyday life. As we talk to children we can intentionally say the color of objects. "please grab the white towel". Sure, there may only be white towels but by using the color it's takes no time at all and the child is getting a tiny lesson on the color white. Here you can see my sweet pea simply matching colored bean bags to bowls. As other kiddos jump in on the fun we facilitate purposeful conversations. "Give Maddox a turn with the BLUE bean bag" "oh look, Davey has the ORANGE bean bag, who see the orange bowl?"

Toddler time!!! We worked out those little hands and fingers today! Anything that strengthen a child's fine motor skills strengthens all the muscles needed for writing. Masking tape for the win!! !

Well the first week of school is a wrap! Look at all these adorable toddlers!🤗 This year we will be focusing on social skills like sharing, using manners and so on. of course we will work on with building fine motor skills and all the other fun things in preschool!! 🙌
