Mrs. Shedrow’s students created insulators for ice cubes in their experiment today: Heat transfer, states of matter, engineering/problem solving. Some of them prevented the ice cube from melting for 20 minutes and they’re going to check back tomorrow morning

To be eligible for PreK 3, children must:
✔️ Be 3 years old by August 1, 2026
✔️ Be fully potty trained (no pull-ups or training underwear)

This is a group of Ms. Hartle’s second graders who are doing a research project on insects. They have been learning all about them the last few weeks and they have gotten so into it. They came up with some new questions to ask that they wanted answered about insects, so cool!

We are SO proud of our city’s graduates! 🎓 We welcomed and celebrated graduates from Washington and Adams High School today for the annual “Graduate Walks!” We are so proud of you!

We’re so proud of our very own Ms. Burns!
She was recognized this evening at South Bend Community School Corporation’s Celebration of Excellence as Marquette’s Teacher of the Year and also she earned special honors group - top 10 teachers in the school district!!!!!
Many congrats Ms. Burns! So very well deserved!
