❤️ Learning to Save a Life, One Beat at a Time! ❤️

Our Senior 1 nursing students had an incredible opportunity to spend the day at Four Winds Field, helping area school students learn a skill that can truly save a life. Hands-Only CPR! 🫀🙌

Our students did an outstanding job teaching the basics of Hands-Only CPR and helping young learners understand what they can do in those critical moments while waiting for EMS to arrive. They kept the students engaged, focused, and learning while making an important lifesaving skill approachable and fun.

We are so proud of the professionalism, enthusiasm, and encouragement our nursing students brought to the day. Experiences like this are a wonderful reminder that nursing extends far beyond the bedside, it’s also about education, prevention, community engagement, and empowering others to take action.

👏 Great job, Senior 1! You represented IU South Bend Nursing beautifully and helped build a community that is better prepared to respond when every second counts.
