Now that my third daughter is earth side as of yesterday morning via home birth (a very successful second home birth for me) I can now get back to work!

“It's not often that you hear of a triplet homebirth, but that's exactly what happened with the help and support of the team from the Veritas Birth Association. With excellent nutrition and a lot of research and consultation, these triplets were carried safely to 35 weeks + 3 days (that's epic) and each baby weighed nearly 6 pounds (also epic). What's even more remarkable is that the beautiful woman who gave birth to these treasures is a surrogate giving the gift of motherhood to another woman. Incredible.”

Postpartum depression is a long and lonely road.
But it can and WILL get better. Be patient with yourself mama. The sadness and the lack of sleep will get to you, and you’ll feel as if no one understands or cares but I PROMISE I DO.

An en caul birth is when the baby is delivered completely encased in the amniotic sac — the thin protective membrane which covers them in the womb.
