Creative Hands & Brilliant Minds is Growing Through Leadership and Learning!
We are excited to share that our Director Marisol Mayorga, has been selected to participate in the Summer Conscious Discipline Institute in Orlando alongside other early childhood leaders from St. Joseph County.

This incredible opportunity will allow us to deepen our knowledge of social-emotional learning, strengthen leadership practices, and bring back powerful strategies that support children, families, and educators in our program.

At Creative Hands & Brilliant Minds, we believe that when leaders continue learning, children thrive.

We are grateful to Ready to Grow St. Joe, the Asante Foundation, and the Valinhos Foundation for investing in early childhood leaders and helping build stronger programs and brighter futures for the children in our community.

Strong early childhood program culture begins with consistent and thoughtful adult practices and supportive relationships.

This week, eight St. Joseph County early childhood program leaders participating in Nurturing Resilience and Building Brains with Conscious Discipline are attending a week-long Summer Conscious Discipline Institute to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their leadership skills. They will bring strategies and practices back to their programs, schools, and our community.

We are grateful for this opportunity as we continue building a vibrant, evidence-based, adult-first, relationship-centered social-emotional learning and mental health community of practice in St. Joseph County's.

A special thank you to the Asante Foundation and the Valinhos Foundation for their vision, partnership, support and generous funding that make these transformational learning opportunities possible. ❤

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸❤️
