๐๐ฅMorote Seoi Nage ๐๐ฅโ two-hand shoulder throw. One of the cleanest ippons in judo when your timing is right.
Our Drills:
1. Band Uchikomi: Belt around ukeโs waist, practice turn-in + lift. 20 reps. Teaches hip contact.
2. Kneeling Seoi: Both on knees. Forces you to use rotation, not strength. Great for kids.
3. Nage-komi with crash pad: Full throw, but focus on floating them over, not dumping.

When controlling or gripping the zubon (pants), we focus on controlling across the belly and gripping the belt. This creates a fluid movement to throw your opponent.
For judo kids, mobility = body awareness + injury prevention + better ukemi. If they canโt control their hips, shoulders, and spine, throws and groundwork turn into a fight instead of technique.
