The great thing about judo is it never lies to you.

You can't fake balance. You can't argue your way out of a throw. On the mat, physics is the judge and it decides instantly. That honesty is rare.

🎌🥋Morote Seoi Nage 🎌🥋– two-hand shoulder throw. One of the cleanest ippons in judo when your timing is right.

Our Drills:
1. Band Uchikomi: Belt around uke’s waist, practice turn-in + lift. 20 reps. Teaches hip contact.
2. Kneeling Seoi: Both on knees. Forces you to use rotation, not strength. Great for kids.
3. Nage-komi with crash pad: Full throw, but focus on floating them over, not dumping.

🎌🥋💪The Summer Judo Challenge was a great success!🙌🥋🎌

Judokas from SBJC truly took this challenge to heart, demonstrating immense determination and courage on the mats. We would like to thank the parents and judokas for making this event possible.

Let’s keep the momentum going. We look forward to seeing more future judokas at our dojo soon.
