Our preschool classes just completed a unit of study that focused on community helpers! Our preschool teachers thought it would be a great idea to end the unit by having actual community helpers come to the classrooms to talk to the students about the jobs they do to help our community!

We would like to thank Nurse Arvesen, Firefighter Way from the South Beloit Fire Department, Danielle from the South Beloit Public Library, and Senior Deputy Metzler from the Sheriff Winnebago County Department for coming and talking to our students today.

Thank you all for serving our community!

Step right up! 🎡📚 Our Book Blast event rolls into town next week. Get ready for a fun-filled adventure as we work together to build our students’ home libraries.

Your student will bring home a Treasure Map with simple steps to earn exciting books, fun prizes, and more along the way. The Book Blast carnival is about to begin! 🎟️✨

Book Blast by Books Are Fun

We would like to thank Lt. Lowe from the South Beloit Fire Department for coming to Clark Elementary School today to speak with our students and staff about what to do when there’s a fire emergency and to make sure we all have a plan in place at home on where to go.

Afterwards, he was able to help us with a fire drill and was very complimentary on the effort and speed in which we were able to evacuate the building safely.

Thank you so much for coming during Fire Prevention Week and for all that you do for our community!

For the month of October, our Little Sobo Character Program is focusing on Inclusion, Being a Good Friend, and Manners.

These students did a wonderful job showing their peers what being a good friend is and how to use their manners! Great job, everyone!
