Hardin-Jefferson ISD

Hardin-Jefferson ISD is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Maintenance Worker to join our team! 🔧🛠️

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with their hands, and can help keep our schools and facilities safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities may include:
🌳 Grounds and exterior work 50%
🔨 General building and facility repairs 10%
🚿 Plumbing and minor repairs 10%
💡 Electrical and lighting maintenance 10%
❄️ Basic HVAC maintenance 10%
🪚 Carpentry and general construction 10%

Please note most of these duties will require outdoor work.

Ideal candidate:
✔️ Dependable and responsible
✔️ Good work ethic and positive attitude
✔️ Able to work independently and as part of a team
✔️ General knowledge of building maintenance and repairs
✔️ Skilled with common hand and power tools
✔️ Able to respond to maintenance needs throughout the district
✔️ Previous maintenance experience preferred
