Did you know that telling a preschooler a safety rule once during circle time is usually not enough for it to stick? According to NAEYC's Teaching Young Children, fire safety education works best when it is embedded in concrete, hands-on experiences tied to community helpers children can already recognize. Play-based classrooms build those experiences into the whole month — through sorting activities, story time, and imaginative play — so children encounter the ideas in more than one way. Read the full blog on our website to see what that looks like week by week in October.

💙 What Our Families Are Saying! 💙
There’s nothing we love more than hearing from the families who trust us with their little ones each day! 🥰
Your kind words, support, and experiences mean so much to our All My Children Learning Center family. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s journey! 🌟
✨ Take a look at what one of our amazing parents has to say about their experience with us! ✨

“We absolutely love AMC! Our youngest currently attends, and I truly can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and teachers. Before COVID, I had planned to enroll my son, but with so much uncertainty at the time, we decided to wait. A few years later, after our daughter was born, we had everything set up with another childcare center. Unfortunately, unexpected health issues came up, and they gave away her spot. I was devastated. I called AMC, and from the very first conversation, Ms. Jenn went above and beyond. She arranged a same-day tour and helped us secure a spot for our daughter. From that moment on, we knew we had found the right place. Our daughter has been attending ever since, and the love and care she receives is incredible. The teachers genuinely treat the children like family, and it's obvious they truly care about each child's growth, happiness, and well-being. Every morning, I know she's walking into a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. AMC feels more like an extended family than a daycare. The communication is excellent, the staff is compassionate, and it's clear everyone takes pride in creating a positive experience for both the children and their parents. If you're looking for a childcare center where your child will be loved, encouraged, and cared for as if they were their own, I wholeheartedly recommend AMC. We are so grateful we found them!”

Interested in becoming part of the AMC family? We’d love to meet you! 💕

October is one of the most naturally curious months in a preschool classroom. Children are already drawn to fire trucks, gear, and the question of what firefighters actually do — which makes Fire Safety Month a genuinely good teaching window. In a play-based classroom, practicing stop, drop, and roll through movement and dramatic play gives children time to return to the skill, try it again, and make it familiar. That kind of repetition is what helps a four-year-old hold onto new information. Read the full blog on our website to see how October fire safety learning comes together in play-based classrooms.
