This fall, Lake County voters are being asked to consider a 1-mill property tax to support school safety, student mental health, and teacher pay. We have built in assurances that the money will be spent appropriately, including the establishment of an independent committee to oversee the spending. We’re so proud of the many ways our students are helping our school community shine! 🌟
We’ve seen students:
-thoughtfully invite classmates to join activities,
-persevere when a task feels challenging,
-make positive choices throughout the day,
-listen, offer encouragement, and help others feel valued.

These moments help make The Den a place where everyone can learn, grow, and belong.
