Part-Time Pre-K Teacher – $16-18/hour

Sorrento Bright Future Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Pre-K Teacher to join our team.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM–2:30 PM
Pay:$16-18.00 per hour
Location: Sorrento, Florida

Responsibilities:

* Provide a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
* Lead age-appropriate learning, art, play, and developmental activities.
* Supervise students during classroom activities, snacks, outdoor play, and dismissal.
* Assist with classroom organization and daily routines.
* Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
* Follow all school, DCF, and safety policies.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience working with preschool or Pre-K children is preferred.
* Any experience working with children will be considered, including childcare, schools, camps, after-school programs, tutoring, coaching, church programs, or similar settings.
* Must be reliable, patient, caring, and comfortable working with young children.
* Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
* Must meet all applicable childcare and school requirements.

🎀 **A Special Day at Sorrento Bright Future Academy!** 🎀

Today was an exciting milestone for **Sorrento Bright Future Academy** as we celebrated our **Ribbon Cutting Ceremony** and welcomed our school families for **Parent Orientation**!

We are grateful to **Lake County Commissioner Leslie Campione** for joining us and helping officially cut the ribbon as we begin this exciting new chapter serving families in Sorrento and the surrounding community.

It was wonderful to meet with our parents, share our vision for the upcoming school year, and prepare together for a successful **2026–2027 school year**.

At SBFA, we look forward to providing students with a safe, caring, academically focused environment centered on **individualized learning, character development, and a strong Biblical foundation.**
