👩🏻‍🏫Help us congratulate Ms. Madison Greenlee and Ms. Megan Danielle Duplessis for completing and graduating their Child Development Associate (CDA) program this past weekend!🥳

These two have put in so much work and hours over the last 9 months in and out of the classroom! From working 10 hour shifts to classes in the afternoons, they really dedicated so much time and effort to this achievement. They have both grown tremendously in their career and we are so grateful to have them apart of our team! We look forward to another great year of growth and learning and can’t wait to see them back in action for the new year!

👩‍🎓👨‍🎓Congratulations to our graduating class of 2026! This class holds a very special place in our heart as some of these students started with us in the very beginning in our infant class the first year we opened! We are so thankful to have been able to care for them in their early educational years and grateful for all of the new friends we’ve added along the way! 💕 The future is bright for this group!💫

Emotional regulation and executive function are connected in more ways than one.

🧠Development of social emotional skills includes an awareness of self and self-monitoring skills, among other areas. The regulation of those emotions is critical for executive functioning cognitive tasks and mental dexterity, especially when emotions are involved.

💫When we regulate behavior, the frontal lobe is at work with it’s impulse control, initiation, self-monitoring, and other cognitive skills.

💫And, emotional skill development includes the ability to self-regulate. These skills mature and develop throughout childhood and into adulthood.
