Steve Shapiro, a Certified Financial Planner and Tiffany Zachmeier of Bay Federal Credit Union, will present on How to Save for College and What Good Credit Really Means:

Date: Tuesday, September 3, 2019
Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Place: Soquel High School MPR

Reducing the impact of college costs requires planning ahead and doing your homework. Even high-income families can (honestly and ethically) pay less for college with planning.
College costs have been going through the roof - UCs now cost $30,000+ per year.

This night you will learn:

1. Financial Aid Basics – what it is and how your child can get access
2. Common mistakes and how to avoid them
3. Strategies – whether your income is high or low, you can reduce college costs if you plan ahead
4. What “good credit” really means, why it’s important, and how parents can help students build good credit safely and responsibly.

Please contact Branna Banks at [email protected] with any questions.
