💙💛 Treutlen FFA officers recently conducted their annual Chapter Officer Leadership Training. Chapter officers visited the Ocmulgee Mounds to learn about the history of indigenous peoples in our area. They also participated in the Encounter Tour at Georgia Safari Conservation Park, which included a safari ride to see animals that are critically endangered. Park staff conducted leadership initiatives to help the team learn to work together to meet their goals throughout the year. This time allowed the team to plan a lot of great activities for the upcoming year that you should participate in!

🏈🥎 Viking Sports Updates: Our Vikings had a strong week of competition!

Last Week’s Results:
• Tuesday: TMS Softball defeated Montgomery County, 20–0
• Tuesday: Varsity Softball fell to Wheeler County, 10–3
• Wednesday: TMS Softball defeated Johnson County, 13–1
• Thursday: Varsity Softball shut out Wilcox County, 2–0
• Friday: Viking Football picked up a big 37–7 WIN!
• Saturday: Cross Country broke several Personal Bests!

Coming Up This Week:
• Monday: TMS Softball hosts Wheeler County
• Tuesday: TMS Football hosts Johnson County for Homecoming & 8th Grade Night; Varsity Softball travels to Hawkinsville
• Wednesday: TMS Softball travels to Johnson County
• Thursday: Varsity Softball travels to Turner County

🌮 Nacho Average Day in the Cafeteria!
Our students were all smiles at lunch and raved about the beef nachos yesterday (jalapenos optional!) A big shoutout to our School Nutrition team for serving up meals our students love!
