Sonora High School We A.R.E. Sonora High! Sonora High School is located in the beautiful foothills of California’s historic Gold Country.

The Sonora Union High School District, a place where students feel a sense of ownership and recognition, is committed to providing a personal educational program that engages students in a challenging, broad-based curriculum where they recognize the value of their education and can define success for themselves. We pride ourselves on offering a truly comprehensive high school experience that meets a wide variety of student interests. For more than 100 years, our young people have benefited from dedicated staff members, active parents, and generous community boosters. If you are a student, you will not be lost on a big impersonal campus. If you are a parent or supporter of students, there are a lot of opportunities to volunteer for campus activities. American small town pride is reflected in our fine arts programs, athletic teams, and student organizations. If you are new to Tuolumne County, we invite you to become part of our district’s traditions. Feel free to call the schools to schedule a visitation, a counseling appointment or attend one of our district events. Thank you for your interest in our schools and student programs.

🐾 Wildcat in the Workforce Spotlight: Haylei Flower 🐾
This week, we are excited to recognize Haylei Flower, a Sonora High School sophomore who is already making an impact both on and off the field!
Haylei works at Columbia Frosty, where she is gaining valuable real-world work experience while balancing an impressive academic and athletic schedule. A three-sport athlete, Haylei has earned her Block S for both athletics and academics—a great reflection of her dedication in the classroom and in competition.
She is also taking advantage of dual enrollment opportunities, getting a jump start on college credits while in high school. Looking ahead, Haylei hopes to follow in her sister’s footsteps and attend Cal Poly, where she plans to study Kinesiology with the goal of becoming a pediatric physical therapist.
Beyond her accomplishments, Haylei is simply a positive presence on the Sonora High campus. Her work ethic, involvement, and positive attitude are a great example of what it means to be a Wildcat!
Way to go, Haylei! We can’t wait to see where your goals take you! 💚💛

🐾 Wildcat in the Workforce Spotlight: Hailey Campbell🐾

This week’s Wildcat in the Workforce is senior Hailey Campbell!

Hailey is an outstanding example of a student who balances academics, leadership, employment, and involvement while always bringing a positive attitude to everything she does. She currently works at Jamba Juice, where she is gaining valuable customer service and workplace skills that will serve her well in the future.

At Sonora High, Hailey serves as our ASB President and works incredibly hard to make SHS a welcoming, spirited place filled with activities and opportunities for ALL students. She is a stellar scholar and a Middle College student, demonstrating her commitment to challenging herself academically while preparing for life after high school.

Hailey plans to pursue a career as a corporate lawyer, and her strong work ethic, leadership skills, and ability to connect with others are already helping build the foundation for that future.

What makes Hailey especially deserving of recognition is the positivity and kindness she brings to our campus. She is welcoming, involved, hardworking, and always willing to step up and help make Sonora High a better place.

And this is an especially exciting week to celebrate Hailey—she is also one of our 2026 Homecoming Queen candidates! 👑💚
