Such an amazing trip to Neve Flower Farm!

Our floral students had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the floral industry from one of our very own local, sustainable flower farms right here in Sonoma County. From production practices and sustainability to harvesting and marketing, students gained valuable insight into what it takes to operate a successful floral business while supporting local agriculture.

Thank you to Chris Neve and the rest of the Neve team for taking the time to share your knowledge and passion with our students. Experiences like these help bring classroom learning to life!

Another year of Sonoma Valley FFA Ag Days in the books! It never fails to impress us watching our agriculture students become the agriculture educators. Teaming up to create a completely student organized and operated event; our officer team facilitates the logistics, while our Advanced Agriscience class uses the knowledge they’ve acquired throughout the year to create engaging presentations, focused on the different aspects of agriculture represented throughout our school farm. We’re already excited for next year!!

From hearing the one and only Temple Grandin as a keynote speaker, to celebrating some truly exceptional members across California FFA, and listening to heartfelt retiring addresses from our State Officers; day 2 of the California FFA State Conference did not disappoint!

We wrapped up the evening with our members feeling motivated, proud to be part of this organization, and ready to dance the night away with FFA members from across the state.

Yesterday was the first day of the California FFA State Conference & with 19 of our members attending, we couldn’t help but have a blast! Our delegates had a day filled of fun & important business, then we all ended the evening with an awesome first session. We are excited for what the rest of week has in store!

Yesterday we had 3 members attend the North Coast Region Spring FFA Meeting and receive their State FFA Degrees. Congrats Stephanie Mata-Gomez, Maryanna Beale & Jacquelyn Strand. We are so proud of you!

Our members spent the last two days exhibiting their animals as an educational display at the Sonoma County Farm Bureau Ag Days. Seeing a total of almost 2800 K-6 students & sharing with them their love & knowledge of agriculture.
