Who am I? My name is Matthew Wilkins and I am the owner and founder of American Warrior Decals. This is a part-time business in addition to my full-time career. Who are we? The idea for this business began in 2015 after my wife and I got engaged. My wife wanted several custom signs for our wedding and was searching for someone locally to make them. After doing my own research, I knew that this was
something that I could make myself. After I completed the signs for our wedding, I decided to challenge myself and see what I could make. I began to experiment with custom decals. From there I found that I enjoyed the entire process from concept, design, to physical creation. I'm a USMC Veteran. I served for 6 years and did one tour in Afghanistan. My wife is my inspiration and because of that I wanted to incorporate her into my business. Her initials, “AW”, developed into American Warrior Decals.
