Ambushing Tiger Qi Gong is a famous medical Qi Gong specifically designed to reduce anxiety, lower blood pressure, calm the heart and nervous system, ease headaches and neck and shoulder pain, promote healthy sleep, relieve muscle tension, and dispel fatigue and stress.
“Ambushing the Tiger” refers to the ability of these exercises to “Tame” our inner tiger by balancing one’s desires, passions and emotions so that the mind and spirit are calm, allowing the internal Qi to flow smoothly and powerfully. Ambushing Tiger Qi Gong is said to “return the Tiger to its den” in a mountain cave where it can lie down comfortably and relax.
This Qi Gong takes only 12-15 minutes to perform and can be performed by anyone.

Fantastic interview! I've been lucky to be in many online classes with Felix that Robert has taught. I've learned a lot from him and he's given me some great avenues to further learning in Chinese Medicine and other areas. It's great when a learned friend gets interviewed - the fact that he's interviewed by another learned friend is that much better!

Eight Brocade Qi Gong was the first Qi Gong set I learned and practiced in the late 1970’s
What I love about the eight brocades is the many-faceted effects of each of the exercises. For example “Raising A Single Hand Regulates the Spleen & Stomach” not only regulates digestion, it also strengthens the arms, opens and stretches the entire back and balances the strength of the two sides of the back (making it an ideal exercise for scoliosis), while simultaneously raising the clear yang upward to brighten the spirit.
“Shaking the Body Prevents the 100 Diseases” not only breaks blockages in the Qi dynamic, studies on elderly practitioners have shown that this exercise is effective for alleviating chronic pain, increasing left femoral neck and lumbar Bone Mineral Density (BMD), and postural balance, both of which are associated with increased bone fragility and higher risk of fracture. Researchers also postulated that “Shaking the Body Prevents the 100 Diseases” may stimulate the immune system and enhance the power of osteogenesis due the perpendicular vibrational stress created by the exercise.
Pretty impressive!

Our online course in Classical Eight Brocade Qi Gong, is due to release on January 21 2025, just before the Lunar New Year. During our 3-day launch will offer the program at a discounted price.
Eight Brocade Qi Gong (Ba Duan Jin) is one of the most famous and popular health preservation methods. For generations, Chinese physicians have prescribed Eight Brocade Qi Gong because of its global on improving circulation and vital force, and because these exercises strengthen the muscles, bones and sinews, while simultaneously improving overall flexibility.
Because the movements of the Eight Brocade Exercises are fairly gentle, they do not stress the joints or exhaust the body. They build up and increase internal energy while strengthening the organs, joints and muscles.
Numerous scientific studies have shown that Eight Brocade Qi Gong can help prevent the loss of muscle strength and endurance associated with aging, while simultaneously lowering blood pressure and improving cardiopulmonary function. Some of the exercises also target specific organ systems, in order to improve their functioning.
Eight Brocade Qi Gong is part of many martial arts traditions, including Shaolin Kung Fu, due to its efficacy in improving, strength, health and flexibility.
