The green group had an amazing adventure to the Natural Playground located on the Cambridge Common. The playground features slides embedded into the sides of hills, a water crank in the sand area, a large ship with a dragon, and a circle swing four children can fit on at once. The space stimulated creative exploration as well as challenging physical activity. We can't wait to return for another visit!

Special thanks to a TEDCC Mother, for giving us caterpillars which we truly enjoyed watching change over the past few weeks! We began watching our caterpillars work to hang from their feet ready to be transferred to our butterfly house. We carefully observed them each day, noticing changes in their chrysalis and wondering what was happening inside. During the process we have learned so much about butterflies! For example, Did you know that Butterflies taste with their feet? They finally emerged as beautiful butterflies which we released into a garden at Big Tufts today! We will miss you Butterflies!

The children found a new playground experience playing with long pieces of cardboard recently! It’s amazing to watch their imaginations take off with just some recycled cardboard pieces from the construction going on around the building. They made bridges, ramps for balls, pulled each other around and pretended to sled and laid a piece over their legs, said they were taking a yellow bus to a concert!
