What a great opportunity: The "Staatsoper unter den Linden" in Berlin is sharing with us every day one of their performances for free. Today you can see Manon by Massenet on their website. It is available for 24h. You might know that the MET does the same. We enjoyed last night's "Carmen". How interesting would it be to compare their productions? :-)

From today at noon our free digital programme will go online until 19th April with daily changing recordings of operas and concerts! You can find all updates here: bit.ly/OnlineSpielplanNews – and of course we will also keep you up to date about the programme here.
Today we are starting with a true gem: Massenets MANON in the staging of Vincent Paterson from 2007. Conducted by Daniel Barenboim and with Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazón! The video will stay available for 24h!

Dear singers, with the corona virus challenging our communities, many schools closing and performances being canceled, life can appear difficult and lonely. 😥 It is most important in this time that we keep on singing, studying and supporting each other as much as we can. There will be a time after the virus and we can use the extra time now to prepare for that. I have extended my online teaching hours to help students who want to work on German repertoire. Just message me and let me know how I can help. No matter what, remember to stay safe and positive. Sing and it will fill you and the people around you with hope and happiness.
