MAIN REUNION EVENT is Friday night May 27th at the Somerville Elks Lodge (6pm) where our SHS classes of 1971 + 1972 (along with guests from the Class of 1970) will enjoy an evening of camaraderie, food, fun, and dancing. Purchase tickets NOW for $85/each; after March 1st ticket prices increase to $95./each

For the safety of all, appropriate pandemic precautions will be observed.
Vaccinated classmates should submit documentation of your vaccine status by photo or scan to Jay Perantoni ’71 [email protected] OR by texting him at 908.507.1733. Alternatively, you may bring your vaccination card to the event.
For UNvaccinated classmates, printed results from a (lab based) PCR test performed within approximately 3 days of the reunion will be accepted at the door. Alternatively you can bring an Abbott BinaxNOW Covid-19 self-test kit to the event and perform the test then. NOTE: Special accommodations for limited outdoor seating with increased social distancing may be reserved with a direct outreach to Carl Suchar [email protected] Classmates with increased medical risk factors will be given priority. Pandemic precautions are subject to change based on updates from the NJ Dept. of Health.
DECADES REUNION EVENT; Saturday afternoon, May 28th plan to join your schoolmates and friends from Classes of 1970 through 1982 at the SHS Decades Reunion. This outdoor (rain-or-shine) picnic starting at 1pm includes food, beverages, music and class photographs to be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Park/Picnic Grounds in Somerville. Cost is $40./person and tickets may be purchased through our Treasurer; Robert M. Hardgrove sent to his business address,
BIKE RACES EVENT; Monday May 30th SHS reunion classes will be able to enjoy the world famous Tour of Somerville Bike Races. Numerous volunteer roles will be available for us to assist our own Mike Malekoff ’71; Tour Coordinator on Race Day. A special SHS Reunion Tent will serve as a gathering point throughout the races where free pizza and refreshments will be available. This outdoor event has grown substantially over the past decades and remains a premier cycling event drawing competitors from around the world all celebrated in OUR hometown.
ADDITIONAL INFORMAL ACTIVITIES; Saturday night join us for an informal gathering at the Village Brewing Company in downtown Somerville featuring live music, local brews, pub food and convivial conversation. Sunday morning will be an opportunity for a casual diner breakfast among classmates at the Bridgewater Diner located on Rt. 22
