Last Tuesday, Group V Commander, Major Nick Birt, presented 1st Lt Rickey Lindemuth the Paul E. Garber Award and ribbon, which is given to CAP Senior Members who complete the Level IV of the Senior Member Professional Development Program.
Maj Birt also presented C/CMSgt Hunter Floyd and C/2d Lt Jarrod Mills, along with our own KY 357 Commander, Captain Nathan Gooch with an Achievement Award for Outstanding Duty Performance at the 2021 Encampment.

This past week, we recognized two outstanding Senior Members. Capt Marsia Jager received her Leadership Level 2 ribbon and 1st Lt Rickey Lindemuth received his Crisis ribbon and his Master Ratings in Administration and in Finance. Along with his Level 4 Paul E. Garber award.
Well done Captain Jager and 1st Lt Lindemuth!

We had a busy promotion and awards night this past week! Cadet Kaitlyn Williams received her promotion to C/2d Lieutenant as well as her Neil Armstrong ribbon and Community Service ribbon. Cadet Emily Jager received her promotion to C/Senior Airmen along with her Hap Arnold ribbon and Mary Feik ribbon. Cadet Benjamin Jager received his promotion to C/Airmen along with his Gen J.F. Curry Award, Community Service ribbon and Crisis ribbon. C/CMSgt Hunter Floyd was presented his 1st Sergeant Diamonds and Neil Armstrong ribbon

This past weekend our cadets and senior members along with others from around the state met in Bowling Green for a Character Development weekend. Cadets attended different lectures on the virtues of leadership (excellence, grit, perseverance, courage, confidence, and humility), how to have a vision & set goals, the importance of body wellness, etc. Senior Members attended an intensive Ground Team Leader training for Search and Rescue (SAR)
