Welcome our new Clinical Coordinator, Nathan Thomas!
Hi everyone I’m Nathan. I’ve been in EMS since 2019. I started my career at McCreary county EMS straight out of high school. I worked as a Basic EMT before obtaining my Advanced EMT. I then decided I wanted to go to college and become a Paramedic. While in college I obtained my Associates in Applied Sciences. Soon after I obtained my Advanced Practice Paramedic with my critical care endorsement. After that I got my instructor license because I always wanted to be a teacher. Becoming an instructor and now Clinical Coordinator for this program has set me where I’ve wanted to be since I was a high school kid. I look forward to instructing the future of EMS and putting tomorrow’s providers out there.

And that’s a wrap for our summer EMT class! It is also on a sad note that this is Jimmie’s Foster’s last class with us as he is moving to provide care back on the ambulance. But he will be a preceptor to our students! We wish him luck! Don’t worry, our lab instructor Maria Peterson will be teaching the next EMT class this fall!
