Graduation Celebration

Each year, TEECS proudly celebrates our graduating students as they reach this important milestone. Graduation is a special opportunity for students, families, teachers, and the entire TEECS community to celebrate years of hard work, growth, friendships, and accomplishments. From our first graduating class to today, we are proud to watch our students take their next steps toward college, careers, and their dreams. We look forward to celebrating each graduating class and all that the future holds for them!

Math Fair

Each year, TEECS students have the opportunity to participate in Math Fairs, showcasing their mathematical thinking, creativity, problem-solving skills, and ability to apply math in meaningful ways. Students explore challenging concepts and present their work while celebrating the many ways mathematics can be used to solve problems and understand the world around us. Math Fairs have been a valued annual tradition at TEECS, with students across multiple grade levels participating.

Drama Club - Finding Nemo, Jr.

Each year, the TEECS Drama Club gives students the opportunity to explore their creativity, build confidence, and experience the excitement of live theater. Through rehearsals, performances, and teamwork, students develop their acting and performance skills while creating lasting memories with their classmates. Theatre Arts is an important part of TEECS’ arts program, which provides students with opportunities to participate in the performing arts.

Last year, the Drama Club delighted audiences with Finding Nemo Jr., bringing the beloved underwater adventure to life with enthusiastic performances, colorful characters, and plenty of heart. It was a wonderful showcase of our students’ talent, dedication, and teamwork.

Science Fair Wonders

TEECS students showcase their curiosity, creativity, and passion for STEM through our annual Science Fairs. They present research projects and experiments exploring a wide range of topics, including renewable energy, environmental sustainability, robotics, human biology, and chemical reactions. It is always a wonderful celebration of innovation and inquiry!

TEECS Home Garden Contest kicked off on Sunday, May 10th (Mother's Day) and runs through to Monday, September 7th (Labor Day)!

If you create your own organic home garden and grow your own food, we want to know!

Congratulations to Sahasra!

Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School (TEECS) proudly celebrates Sahasra for representing both TEECS and the State of New Jersey at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas from June 28 - July 3, 2026.

As the first TEECS student to compete at the FBLA National Competition, Sahasra has achieved a remarkable milestone that reflects her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Her accomplishment is not only a personal success but also a historic moment for our school and our FBLA chapter.

We are incredibly proud of Sahasra for serving as an outstanding ambassador for TEECS and New Jersey on the national stage. We congratulate her on this outstanding achievement and look forward to seeing her continue to inspire future FBLA members.
