‼️Attention Somerset Elementary School Families‼️

The next school committee meeting will be held next Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 5:30 PM at Somerset Berkley Regional High School.

The South PTO is strongly encouraging all parents, guardians, teachers, and community members to attend the meeting and advocate for ALL Somerset Elementary School Students.

Agenda item #9: “Discuss South School Closure for 2027-2028 School Year”. We need to come together to be the voice of our students and support our school staff, and families in the community.

‼️Tomorrow is Field Day!!

Today was an AWESOME day!! 😎

We hope every student enjoyed all of the activities! We started with high-fives, and then each student received a Hawaiian garland and a fun name tag. 🌺

We were able to enjoy the wonderful weather, and make great memories at the reptile show, petting zoo, dunk tank, interactive bubble station, inflatable obstacle course, played limbo, Gaga ball and yard games. 🫧

The PTO provided Pizza, Chips, and Oreos for lunch and served refreshing Italian Ice from our tiki hut. 🍕

Thank you to everyone who helped make today possible. 💚

We encourage your student to dress in school appropriate vacation/Hawaiian attire and comfortable shoes!

Also, please apply sunscreen prior to school.

We are so exited for our crickets to have an Awesome Day!

✋🚨🚔👮High Fives this Thursday, June 11th!

State Troopers will be greeting our students the morning of Thursday, June 11th. Please be aware that there will be police and vehicle presence at the front of the school for this planned event.
