We are excited to host a Read-a-Thon at LITTLE GEMS MONTESSORI and we believe that the success of this event will depend on your support. Our top priority is to equip our students with the necessary tools for their growth and education, and we cannot achieve this without your assistance. We aim for a 100% participation rate from all our families this year.

The concept of the Read-A-Thon is straightforward: donors pledge funds to encourage students to read, and the academy raises money accordingly. Your participation will play a vital role in making this event a success. We ask for your support in making a donation and also in spreading the word among your friends and family to do the same.

We aspire to make this Read-A-Thon the most successful fundraiser we have ever had. Together, we can make a difference and support the growth and education of our students at LITTLE GEMS MONTESSORI ACADEMY.

Read-a-thon Fundraiser - Raise More Money Than Ever Before Raise more money than ever before while promoting reading, education and accomplishment with a readathon. This is the easiest fundraiser for school aged kids anywhere.

Assist the lead teacher in preparing planned activities, diaper changes, feeding time, clean up, etc.
Assist students individually or in small groups with activities.
Assist children with toilet training when applicable.

JOINING BONUS included: $500 now and $500 after 3 months.

What a year it was…had a rough start to the year with the school being closed for a few months and then we moved to online zoom classes and then to a combination of in-person and zoom classes. The children adapted so well to these changes, kudos to them and the teachers who had to go thru the arduous job following all the mask and shield mandates.

We would like to thank all the parents who supported us during these tough times and believed in us by entrusting their children with us.

We are open for the summer and hoping to be back to normal in September .

The Moveable Alphabet is one of the ways children prepare for writing in the Montessori environment. The Moveable Alphabet allows children to form words before they are able to write and practice spelling by learning the sounds of the letters. The ultimate result of all of the preparation in the Montessori environment is a “spontaneous explosion into writing” when children start writing words without any fear or resistance.
