Northern Middle Future Problem Solving team unlocks world championship Some of Pulaski County's brightest students are ready to take on the problems of the world — and have already done so successfully.

With Coach Roberts' transitioning to his role as PCHS Head Football Coach, Dr. Shawn Boyle will assume the role of Athletic Director at Northern Middle School. Dr. Boyle brings a love of sports, coaching experience, impeccable organization and management skills, and much more to the job. He is enthusiastic about this opportunity and eager to begin serving in this new position.

We are confident that Dr. Boyle will do an outstanding job leading our athletic programs and continuing to support the success of our student-athletes, coaches, and teams.

🏆 Just another example of how NMS continues to be a School of Champions! Our Middle Grades FPS team are WORLD CHAMPIONS in Middle Grades Global Issues Problem-Solving!!! The Junior Team finished 5th in the World in Global Issues Problem-Solving and 8th in the World in Presentation of Action Plan. NMS competed against teams from all over the 🌎 and the competition was held at Indiana University. 🏆

Our front office is undergoing renovations this summer! During this time, access to the office may be limited and staff availability may be restricted.

To help serve our families, a black locked drop box has been installed by the front entrance where forms, paperwork, and other school documents may be securely submitted. If you are unable to reach NMS through our regular phone line, please contact our Youth Services Center at 606-679-7824 for assistance.

On Tuesday, we celebrated our 8th graders with the 8th Grade Bash! Students had a great time at The Palace making memories and enjoying a fun day together. We wish all of our 8th graders the very best as they begin their journey at PCHS!

Congratulations to our retirees: Mr. Scott Sexton, Mr. Brad Gover, and Ms. June Correll. Together, they combine for 100 years of experience in education. Their dedication, hard work, and care have left a lasting impact on our school and the countless students whose lives they have impacted. We are grateful for all they have given to our school community and wish them happiness and many blessings in their well-deserved retirement!
