We are so grateful to TJ Ross - Almost Home Real Estate Services LLC and Bope Thomas Funeral Home for their donations towards these school supplies.
We are at the time during school year where supplies often start to run short. The PTA wanted to help with that and we had a plan get donations from office supply stores in nearby towns and had no luck. These two both donated $100 each. That's small town community support! ❤️
The PTA supplemented that with another $50 to help out our classrooms. We asked each one to list their top 3 needed items and we set out to fulfill that.

If you will be in or around Heath this Wednesday, March 18th we are having a fundraiser night going on at Raising Cane's. This is also the same night as our Ice-Skating event if you need to stop for food before or after. You do need to mention the Somerset PTA fundraiser when placing your order. THANK YOU!

Family night at the Ice-Skating Rink is this Wednesday evening! This event is free for the entire family, rentals included. Come out and try something new!

Mark your calendars for our March family night! Come try something new with us! Admission and rentals are covered for our families. This is a private event for our Somerset Elementary students and their families. Flyer will be sent home.

Kindergarten Registration for NLSD Schools 2026 - 2027 School year is here.
1. Registration Forms must be done by custodial parent or guardian.
2. Students need not attend registration.
3. Students must be 5 on or before August 18, 2026 to be eligible to attend Kindergarten in the fall.
4. Registration packets are available at each elementary and the district office. They are also available on the district website. The link is attached to this post.
5. Any questions, please call the district office at 740-743-1303.
6. Registration dates at the Middle School Library: March 4, 12 - 7 pm and March 5, 8 - 3 pm.
7. Bring the following documents with you to registration: birth certificate (certified copy), immunization (shot) record, social security card, proof of residency (utility bill, property tax duplicate, purchase agreement or notarized statement from property owner with utility bill attached), special education records (IEP and/or ETR if applicable), custody papers (if applicable).
