We were honored to welcome our local first responders to St. Matthias for our flag-raising ceremony this morning. Their presence was a wonderful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and service they provide to our community each and every day.

We are incredibly grateful for the men and women who work to keep our families and community safe. Thank you for your service and for helping us begin the school year by honoring the flag and all that it represents. 🇺🇸❤️💙

The St. Matthias School faculty gathered for our Opening Spirituality Day as we prepare our hearts and minds for a new school year. Together, we reflected on our school theme, “Let Your Light Shine,” and the beautiful responsibility we have as Catholic educators to bring Christ’s light into our classrooms each day.

Father Tom reminded our teachers that we are called to be the light for our students—radiating the love of God that has been so generously shared with us. May that love shine through our words, our actions, our patience, and our care for every child entrusted to us. 💙🙏
